Claire's Violin Recital

Claire had her first violin recital in January and did GREAT! She played Minuet 1 & 2 by Bach for her performance. Unfortunately, the pictures I took didn't turn out too well, but decided to post them anyway.

Troy's sister, Teri, came for a visit in August. We had a fun time showing her our little downtown, introducing her to our animals, and she even helped Troy move the irrigation pipes a couple of times. There's "no rest for the weary"....even when visiting as there is always work to do around here. Thankfully, Aunt Teri is a good sport and didn't mind lending a hand. One of the highlights of her visit was our trip to Lake Como. We took our breakfast and enjoyed some fun in the sun.

Our county fair is only a week away so the girls have been practicing with their goats. This is their first year "showing" and they are very excited. I'll let you know how they do!
